Note: When you first install the app you can specify how much you are prepared to offer; the phone numbers to call; and your email address. You can later edit those details at anytime.

As the owner of the phone you can swiftly swipe away the message and go on to enter your pin/password as usual, or you may prefer to unlock the phone using your fingerprint. Whichever unlock option you use, the message will have absolutely no impact on your everyday usage and will only serve as a silent and comforting reminder that a very viable return procedure is in place in the event of loss or theft of your device.

But for the person who would have your phone ‐ whether a thief or an innocent person ‐ there really is only one sensible thing to do. He or she will be very glad, and in any case, will feel compelled to get in touch.

One more thing to note: When the message comes on, the person will be allowed enough time to read about half of it before his/her picture will flash up on the display. The screen will return to the message after about two seconds. Being suddenly faced with their own picture will dispel any possible thought that this might just be a joke or a bluff. Of course, you will never see any of this unless you just want to test PPPlus in action.

Your Privacy

Our website and our app do not use cookies; nor do they in any way collect or store any information about you that we may use or may share with a third party. Put simply, we do not collect; store; or share any kind of information. Period.

The information that you enter when you install the app is stored only on your phone/device and we have no access to it. The phone numbers you will enter are used only by the app to display to the person who may have your phone what numbers to call; while your name and email address are used by the app if it becomes necessary to send you an email with a picture of the person who turned on your device.

In short, you have 100% privacy.

Permissions Required

Depending on your phone's settings, receiving a notification could cause it to turn itself on. This could then bring up your Offer Message. So, in order to avoid unnecessarily taking a picture and then emailing it to you, the app needs to know whether the display was turned on by a notification or by an actual person.

Similarly, receiving a call will also turn on your phone. The app therefore needs to monitor the state of the phone in order to know when a call is being received. The READ_PHONE_STATE permission is used only for this purpose.

In addition to the two permissions explained above, the app needs permission to use your camera and to store in your phone memory any picture that it might take. Such pictures will be replaced by any new ones.

End-User License Agreement ("Agreement")

Unlike the vast majority of End-User License Agreements which are incredibly long and full of jargon, ours will be kept as short and as simple as possible so you won't feel the need to skip/ignore it. We ask you to read this License Agreement (this Agreement) carefully before clicking the "I Agree" button below.

In this Agreement, "the Application" refers to Phone Protector Plus (aka PPPlus or PPP); the words "we"; "us; "our"; "ours" refer to Godwin Graham (the Developer of the Application) and to any party to whom the Developer has granted permission to sell or distribute the Application; while the words "you"; "your"; and "yours" refer to the party who clicks on the "I Agree" button.

By clicking the "I Agree" button or by using the Application, you are agreeing to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

License

We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install and use the Application solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes strictly in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.

Restrictions

You agree that wil will not, nor will you permit others to: license, sell, rent, lease, assign, distribute, transmit, host, outsource, or in any other way commercially exploit the Application.

Modifications to the Application

We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Application or any service to which it connects, with or without notice and without liability to you.

Term and Termination

This Agreement shall remain in effect until terminated by you or by us.

We may, in our sole discretion, at any time and for any or no reason, suspend or terminate this Agreement with or without prior notice.

This Agreement will terminate immediately, without prior notice from us, in the event that you fail to comply with any provision of this Agreement. You may also terminate this Agreement by deleting the Application and all copies thereof from your mobile device.

Upon termination of this Agreement, you shall cease all use of the Application and delete all copies of the Application from your mobile device.

Amendments to this Agreement

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace this Agreement at any time. If a revision is material we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

Severability

If any provision of this Agreement is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Restrictions on Use

You shall use the Application strictly in accordance with the terms of this Agreements and shall not: (a) make any modification, adaptation, improvement. enhancement, translation or derivative work from the Application; (b) violate any applicable laws, rules or regulations in connection with your access or use of the Application; (c) remove, alter or obscure any proprietary notice (including any notice of copyright or trademark) associated with the Application; (d) install, use or permit the Application to exist on more than one Device at a time; (e) copy the functions of the Application to create a product, service or software that is, directly or indirectly, competitive with or in any way a substitute for any services, product or software offered by the Application; or (f) use or try to use any of the intellectual property employed in the design, licensing or distribution of the Application.

Disclaimer of Warranties

We obviously cannot and therefore do not offer a guarantee that in the event of your device being lost or stolen it will definitely be returned to you. Also, although we expect that the Application will meet all your expectations, we do not offer any guarantee to that effect or to that end.

You acknowledge and agree that the Application is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, and that your use of or reliance upon the Application is at your sole risk and discretion. We disclaim any and all representations, warranties and guaranties regarding the Application and third party content and services, whether express, implied or statutory, and including, without limitation, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Dispute and Resolution

In the unlikely event of a dispute arising from this Agreement, the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear and settle such disputes.

Availability in Your Country

You will be able to download PPPlus from various app stores - but only via an agent or sponsor who is authorized to distribute the app in your country of residence.

If you would like to download the app then please send an email to:
howtogetppp@yourppp.com with the name of your country as the subject. We will respond with the name of a version of the app that is assigned to your country, along with the app store(s) from which you can download a free two-week trial.

At the end of the trial period you can upgrade to a renewable one-year subscription. However, you may choose to upgrade before the trial period ends, just in case you are unfortunate enough to lose your device during the trial.

Agents and Sponsors

In each country we will have a limited number of agents and a number of businesses / organisations as sponsors. Each sponsor will have a branded version of PPPlus that they can offer to their customers; clients; fans; or the general public for free or at a very reasonable price. A subscriber to a branded version will see the business's brand every time the device turns on. Additionally, there will be a link to the business's online presence.

In addition to getting publicity for its brand, an orgoanisation will receive up to 60% of the income generated by the downloads of its branded version.
